![]() Born of a spirit and a human woman she was even as a young child isolated from her peers by her great powers. ![]() Mori Summer was a powerful mage from a time before mages were commonplace on the Earth. While she won't be the shining model of charity and generosity, she will give up her time and some of her resources. However she is also inherently nice, sweet, and kind, and she can go out of her way to help others provided that her own ambition isn't inhibiting her from doing so. On the one hand she can be highly ruthless in pursuing her own personal desires, and while she'd never actually hurt people, she can be rather callous in placing her own personal needs over other's. However her empathy still exists in spite of it's great reduction in power, so Shinka becomes something of a paradox. She is very self-motivated, and is very capable of acting independent of others without coming off as standoffish or isolated. She comes off as very self-disciplined, a drillmaster to herself who sets strict schedules and has very strong plans and goals for her future. Having recovered from a strong case of self-importance and deluded grandeur in her middle school years, Shinka is still heavily embarrassed by her past nonsense and is heavily compensating for it by cracking down heavily on herself. This is usually done to mess with others with that sense of humor really long lived people normally have, and usually done to great effect due to her strong empathy.Īs Shinka - Shinka thinks of herself as a very ordinary girl and would very much like to stay that way. She has the tendency to ramble on when allowed about her experiences and her theories concerning life and humanity, and this tendency to make random and usually irrelevant speeches is what makes her an oddball for the typical Hyakuji student.īeing impossibly old and having lived many previous lives, Mori is an incredibly actress and can wear any number of different personalities like masks. ![]() Mori Summer is a virtual saint in many respects, patient, charitable, and filled with a strong care for virtually all others due to her highly developed empathy. Small tome called the 'Mabinogion' which contains the writings of Mori Summer.Īs Mori - Has seen much in her time, and is as a result the stereotypical old wise quirky one. Normal school supplies: notebooks, pens, pencils, etc. Can be around for up to two minutes before vanishing, and requiring an hour grace period to re summon. Summon : Di Long - Summons the ancient fairy of Earth, whose magic passively increases the endurance to pain, injury, and fatigue of those considered allies in a 10 meter shell around her, and whose magic can be actively invoked to further infuse the power of earth into an ally, increasing their tenacity even further for the duration, but removing the aura from the rest of their allies. The magic that Mori can summon forth while her contract is active is body-centric, that is, all effects only work within and do not show any external effects. In layman's terms, it's healing and defensive magic. The summoning grants Mori ancient woodland magics, elementally attuned to nature, that bestow the touch of unspoiled nature upon the affected. Mori can summon any amount of named fairies to her aid, but regardless of the amount summoned the power she receives as part of the contract is constant. ![]() For both girls this power means an inherently closer connection with others.įairy Summoning - Exclusive to Mori, these summoning powers invoke an ancient connection between the magi and ancient forest spirits of old. The more positive the overall mood of the person the more pleasant the feeling, while negative emotions are inverse and thus more grating and harsh for both to deal with. The power of this is stronger of course with Mori, as Shinka she only has subconscious inklings of other's moods which make her seem like a 'people person', as Mori she has the quasi ability to read thoughts if they are strongly emotional in nature.Įmotions for both manifest as 'a feeling' that both will feel towards a person based on their emotion. Mori on the other hand, being the mage between the two, can voluntarily control her return into Shinka's form regardless of extenuating circumstances.Įmpathy - As both Mori and Shinka she is inherently in tune with the emotions of others, which create auras around a person which Mori/Shinka can feel. Transformation - Shinka's shifting into Mori is completely involuntary, and will only occur under circumstances of great duress, either to herself or to others she cares about.
